This form is to be used when submitting your music to the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) or for consideration in the sing and other CASA compilations. You are only required to submit this form once for both the awards and compilation programs per album.
Submissions are open on a rolling basis. You can submit your album or single at any time for the current CARA year and/or upcoming compilation.
Please note that you can create multiple submissions for an artist/group and then checkout once to cover all submission fees in a single transaction.
Thank you for your interest in submitting for the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs), the SING compilation, and the A Cappella Video Awards (AVAs)! We believe that these programs have a special role in recognizing and celebrating excellence in our community. The CARAs have been the only a cappella recording award platform around for almost 30 years, and we hope to be around for many more. To do so, the program must sustain itself. While the organization producing these programs, the Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA), and its programs are run by volunteers, there are costs associated with running the Awards and Compilation programs, including application hosting, media storage, and other technology-related expenses. Starting this season, we are now collecting submission fees so that we can build long-term success for these important a cappella awards programs.
For the 2022/2023 awards season, there is a per-track or per-video fee with a reasonable maximum per album AND per artist. Also, submitting to CARAs and Compilations with a single submission will only incur a single submission fee.
